thanks- extensive education not wasted after all, shock.
i LOVE night of the demon- i have a long nurtured love for old horror films, though few are english, sadly. apart from the bad realisation of the demon, its actually fairly chilling and wheatley-ish, and i love the noise it makes as it comes along the rails. bravo to you, for acknoledging a forgotten gem.
How bizarre - for no particular reason I had the recent impulse to find this film, which I remember as vert scary from my childhood (illicitly staying up late). Found the relevant bits on Youtube, I think. It inspired, as I recall, the lines from Kate Bush "it's coming! It's coming through the trees!". A modern day demonic noir classic. How very appropriate for my (very preliminary) intuition about you. More research is needed. You are a talented artist.
Research confirms - it was The Hounds of Love by Kate Bush. Dana Andrews was superb, Peggy Cummongs too, but Niall MacGinnis in clown's make up....too much. Also, although not in black and white - The Devil Rides Out, with it's scary spider scene.
bookish, annoying, stubborn.
can talk for ages, generally accompanied by wavey hand gesticulations, and, sometimes, pointing.
own an estimated 4500 books. roughly.
Wonderful drawings. Very interesting blog, too. I found this site by looking at other people who include "Night of the Demon" in their profiles.
